The on-going Project of Working fingers International Initiative is the mobilisation of Community and faith based Organisations and other gender advocates for GBV and gender mainstreaming interventions through provision of care and support.

With the approval of the Corporate affairs commission, a National coalition of stakeholders in the Child, sexual and Gender based violence response has been formed. The name of the coalition is Association against Child sexual and gender based violence.
Consequently, the Working fingers international initiative program team launched out the Human resource mobilization team at a one day National Stakeholders meeting on the 10th of January, 2020. 23 States of the Federal republic of Nigeria were represented by 114 non-profit, community based, faith based and women led professional associations.At the end of the meeting, a nationwide Resource mobilization team led by the amiable Working fingers int’l initiative executive director, Amb. Dr, Eris Jewo Ibi and 13 others. The report of the Nation wide mobilization of NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, Professional association led by women to see the need to undertake Programs and projects around Provision of care and support for gender based violence victims and survivors. Also to create awareness on the Beijing + plus and also to create awareness on the UN Resolutions 1325 amongst other Gender mainstreaming developmental issues.
At the end of January 31st 2020 the National Coalition to combat Child sexual and Gender based violence has physical presence in the following states: Delta, Akwa ibom, Rivers, Edo, Bayelsa, Benue, Plateau, Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna, FCT, Borno, Kwara, Enugu, Kogi, Lagos with volunteers in other states required.
Gender mainstreaming and ending Child Sexual and gender based violence is a challenge that destroy the lives of many Nigerians and must be stopped by all Nigerians getting involved at a critical time like this. Get involved by participating as a community vanguard who speaks out against all forms of gender based violence or by donations to support gender based violence victims and survivors.
